Rudolf Kuehner: ‘From the foothills of the Simonsberg this wine, made from grapes of our oldest Pinotage Vineyard, shows what Laibach is all about. Since twenty years we blend terroir, passion and dedicated people together to punch above our weight and go where we never thought it would be possible. Very much like ad Bibendum, one of our first customers. Only grapes from the oldest Pinotage vineyards are handpicked and carefully selected for this wine. After at least one year in first and second-fill small French oak barrels only a few of our best batches were selected for this organic wine, expressing the unique terroir of the Simonsberg – Stellenbosch. This Pinotage is the pinnacle of what we are able to produce from deep, red clay soils. 4820 bottles, 300 magnums, 60 double magnums & 30 jéroboam (5l)’
